Mission Changes its Name and Look

Mission Medical Enterprises, Inc. is now Mission Care Group. The new name reflects our continuing emphasis on providing comprehensive programs for residents that range from skilled nursing care to rehabilitation services and the introduction of the Eden Alternative™. It is an exciting, important direction for Mission. You will also notice that we have a new logo that is symbolic of the change. It features a stylized representation of an individual circled by a heart, which graphically depicts our on-going commitment to the community that our residents come first.

Mission Launches Eden Alternative™ Program

All four of our care centers are in the process of adopting the world famous Eden Alternative Program. The Eden Alternative is a powerful tool for improving the quality of life. It creates a better environment by eliminating loneliness, helplessness and boredom through the implementation of the ten Eden Alternative Principles. Kings Center to Build New Rehabilitation Facility

Kings Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is about to under go a significant change. Construction is set to begin on a new rehabilitation facility that will rival any center in the region. The facility will feature advanced therapeutic equipment and services. The building will be adjacent to the current Kings Care Center. There are also plans to develop a new open courtyard in the back of the facility with special fencing to create a safe environment where residents can enjoy a large and spacious patio and gardening area.
